Duke Energy Foundation Invests $50,000 in Terre Haute Higher Education

Terre Haute, Indiana - The Duke Energy Foundation has generously donated $50,000 to support higher education initiatives in Terre Haute. This significant grant will be distributed among two esteemed institutions: Indiana State University and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Indiana State University

Indiana State University, a comprehensive public university, will receive $25,000 to enhance its College of Arts and Sciences. Specifically, the funds will be directed towards the purchase of state-of-the-art scientific equipment, enabling students to engage in cutting-edge research and experimentation. "This investment will empower our students with the resources and opportunities they need to excel in their academic pursuits and become future leaders in their chosen disciplines."

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

This program provides students with hands-on research opportunities under the guidance of faculty mentors. The Duke Energy Foundation's grant will enable Rose-Hulman to expand the program's reach and impact.
