Mobile Police Investigate Saturday Night Homicide
On Saturday night, May 7, 2023, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Mobile Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of Dauphin Island Parkway. Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased male victim lying on the ground outside of a residence.
The victim, identified as 32-year-old James Albert Brown, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Mobile Fire-Rescue personnel.
